I'm convinced the couple living across the road from us are swingers, they have streams of people coming in and out of their house and people are always asking where number 74 is so they obviously don't know them. and their curtains are always drawn.
anyway, should I be offended that they've never asked us to join in? are we too ugly?

I would be more concerned with the possibility that they were dealing drugs...

If you want to swing, start your own. Either that... Or when they say "Where is # 74?" Say, "Right here baby!"

You'll find out fast what it is they were looking for at #74...

That's a great idea for a book... Call it, No. 74.

Swinging ~
"Party-houses and on-premises clubs:
This is the best possible way to start swinging and to be introduce to other swingers through various parties and events. However, there are always fierce competitions for places and only a small amount of first-timers can expect admission to such events. Even if you do get in, memberships to clubs are quite expensive and
the activities that goes on are a bit too much for beginners."

It sounds to me as if this could be a swingers party house, as described above.Or even a private club, run in your neighbourhood.
A lot of people on here have said it isn't like swingers to behave this way and so it must be drugs, but from this description, it seems very likely.
You asked why they don't invite you right? Well, it could be because you aren't 'in' the scene yet. Or they think they are being clever and discreet, which they obviously aren't. Personally, I wouldn't want to be dealing with this happening so openly right where I live. But that's up to you personally. And since we don't know what is really going on, how do we know it's legal or illegal. We are all simply jumping to conclusions. You could approach your neighbours and talk politely to them about it. It depends whether you want it to stop, or want to join in for real. I suppose you'll have to ask yourself that.

It's probably drugs. Swingers don't operate that way. In fact, you could live next door to swingers for 20 years and never know. These people are selling drugs.

I say it is more likely drugs or a theft ring. Swinging may be it though. If not asked to join in, I would be more relieved than offended. Too many wierd things going on these days when it comes to swinging.

U could always call the police to see if they really are dealing in drugs. They don't sound like swingers to me.

They are probably having prayer group meetings. They don't invite anyone not already attending the church.

They could be having a book club meeting.

An AA meeting or other Anon program meeting.

They could be running some sort of charity from the house and don't want to burden you with the constant pressure to come and give again and again.

It could be MLM, you really don't want to go.

Have your own party!!

Invite me!

did ya have to tell folk my house number????

pmsl ONLY JOKING!

I think it would more be a case of drugs @ #74,
swingers meet after chatting, so addresses and directions/fone numbers all swapped previousy to turning up at anyone house.

dont mean to highjack your question but as swinging was my last question i laugh at how everyone thinks it is only hetro couples who swing, no mention of ff couples or mm couples just mf couples.
how we stick our heads in the sand in this sa

Perhaps you should speak with them. Hint that you are swingers. If they are swingers they will pick up on that right away. If they aren't then perhaps they have some drugs they want to sell you???????
