Coffee is dehydrating so you better drink enough water. But otherwise, the coffee is not too bad, it will make you more alert during your workout -unless you get all jittery.

Only if you drink enough water. But there was also a recent article that said drinking a cup of coffee before working out will help relieve muscle soreness. But in the words of my always right mom, always drink your water!

As with all things, moderation is the key. It is not bad to exercise after consuming caffine and it may even help you to exercise with a bit more intensity. 3 cups of coffee may be a bit much. It's diuretic effects (in regards to dehydration) are negligable.

The only worry is that coffee dehydrates you - so be sure and drink plenty of water.

I do it all the time (actually, after a quad shot latte) but I also drink a lot of water.

i suggest that you should drink water than coffee.. or chocolate drink will do.. gym instuctors use to drink chocolate drinks while working out..

Not good if you have heart palpations or any other kind of cardio problems.Other than that you should be fine.
