Not all men get aroused just by looking at a girl. No it doesn't mean your gay. Some guys need a more intimate setting with a girl they know to get aroused. Maybe you are more sensitive than most guys. My husband is the same way. When we met he didn't look at me like he wanted to take my clothes off right away like most guys do. I think thats a really great quality in a man.

No dude that does not mean your gay. A lot of guys act like that because society tells men to act like that. Watch TV commercials and sictoms and magazine ads. All of them depict men as slaves to the image of an attractive woman and they act accordingly. The fact that you are looking at the actual PERSON not just her physical characteristics means you are interested in finding a good all around match for yourself not just a hot body (but you can find both.) I was the same way all through high school and into college. I had a lot fewer girlfriends than my friends did but when I did they were always better relationships because I was looking at the whole person. I got married about a year and a half ago, my wife and I are a perfect dorky match for each other. But just because you don't act like an idiot every time a pair of nice legs walks by don't sweat you are normal. The right kind of girls appreciate a guy like you, girls who want that attention are trouble/drama.

No, you are not gay. Just new to the game. I would venture to say that you have one or more sisters with whom you have formed your atttitudes towards girls. Or, your attitudes towards them could also have been shaped by an overly protective mother, and/or a very passive father.

It also depends on your age. Some guys develop sexual feelings later than others. I know of several teenage boys, who did not develop an interest in girls until they turned 16 years old.

It could also be biochemical. If you are 16 or older, I would consult with your doctor about having your testoserone level checked.

But, my gut feeling is that your lack of arousal has more to do with your family and what you learned about male and female relationships from them.

There's a difference between attraction and outright arousal.

Seriously, do you think that most guys see an attractive woman and instantly get aroused? Maybe if they are 12. Believe me, in the right situation, with the right girl, then you will get aroused.

If you are not attracted to guys then you aren't gay.

"Just by looks," maybe not. I can look at a beautiful woman and not get aroused. Thinking about what I'd like to do to a beautiful woman might, though.

If you have any question about your sexuality, go watch some porn, both straight and gay, and you will know immediately what you are.

I think you suffer from some form of vaginal-envy, its not that your gay, its that you haven't had it to the point that you understand why your friends put it so high. You probably ask yourself why do they think so high of it because you haven't experienced it yet, its just part of life, there is no rush, the more you learn the farther ahead of the game you'll be, don't worry your not alone, there are many others, you just have to give it time, and make it special.

Don't compare yourself to your brothers and friends. Maybe it just means that you need to be stimulated more emotionally then just physically. If your not attracted to men, then that means you aren't gay. It's normal to be shy, but you should definately try to lessen your nervousness by getting to know a girl.

You are normal. Most guys do get turned on by visual, but not all guys do. There is a rare guy whom God places among us whom it takes beauty and brains to get his engine running. :o) And as far as finding the right girl, and just letting things flow naturally... you got it... that is the right way to work this thing.
