With a CD in the drive press STOP twice.
In DISC mode press SETUP on the remote.
Press > repeatedly until you get to Audio Setup
Press V to select CD Upsampling and then selected it with >
Choose upsampling.
BTW if you choose SURR on your remote for Surround sound you will shut off the upsampling feature.
