i'm 24 and very thin. i want to gain at least 20 lbs so does anyone know how i can gain weight?

eat lots of pizza, pasta and penutbutter everyday and you will gain weight.

The best way is to do it the healthiest way, which is to gain about 1-2 pounds per month. Weight training can help in this. No, you don't have to bulk up or anything, but just tossing on 20 pounds of fat is not good for you. I would suggest a high caloric diet with plenty of exercise. The exercise will ensure that the weight you do put on is more muscle than fat. It might take longer to add the weight, but you will look and feel better doing it that way.

I hope you are not a vegetarian, because to gain weight sensibly would be to eat protein. Examples would be Red meats, fish two to three times a week. (unless you are pregnant not good for baby to eat alot of fish in a short time span.) Dairy products are also very high in protein. Also eggs and nuts. I must say though that at your age you may want to see a doctor if you are very thin. You may have a Hyper thyroid problem. It is a simple blood test to rule this out. Otherwise you are just one of those people that eat anything and not gain wieght due to a hyper metabolisim. Good Luck and God Bless.

I healthy way to gain weight is to make shakes with Whey protein. It is healthy and adds weight, also weight lifting will make you look bigger. But, some people are naturally thin. I have a friend who looks like Olive Oil! She can't gain weight at all. Her daughter is the same way and her high school has accused her of having a eating disorder until they saw her mom and then they saw that it was in the genes! Good luck!

If your trying to gain good weight then I would suggest you eat lots of meats and take a protein supplement on a daily basis. You'll want to consume a gram of protein for each pound of weight. Eat at least 4-5 small meals throughout the day...

okay, try to gain a little at a time. like 2-3 lbs a week!
eat only 3-4times a day so that u're hungry when you eat, and try foods that don't take up much room in your stomach but are full of calories.

girl eat whateva you want, if it is meant for you to gain weight you will, be happy the way u are, because then when u gain too much weight, you will be back on yahoo asking how do i lose the weight, be happy the way u are and most of all be healthy

Take a weight gain supplement, or eat McDonalds every day, or the king, thats what i did and now im to big!
