Certainly not...
Hebrews 11 v.1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
v. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Romans 14 v. 23...and everything that does not come from faith is sin.

Lets look at the defination first:
1 : of, relating to, concerned with, or involving both mind and body
Faith does involve mind, body and spirit we by faith do lots of things. We have faith that drivers will stay in their lane or stop at red lights.
2 : of, relating to, involving, or concerned with bodily symptoms caused by mental or emotional disturbance
I don't believe Faith falls under this at all. I know some people like to use that term in describing people who believe in a high power. They do that from not knowing what that person has experience or understands. Faith is something internal hard to judge from the outside. To call a distrubance is mocking that person. It shows a very closed mind.

psychosomatic -- (used of illness or symptoms resulting from neurosis)
Yes and no.
Like anything it depends on how it is used. Take a medication and you can improve your health, taken to extremes and it becomes a problem drug that harms or even kills.
Faith has been known to heal, and bring people together, faith has been known to kill and drive people apart or even to war.
Faith in and of itself is not necessarily an "illness" so no faith is not psychosomatic, but when it becomes a fanatical thing, then that is the illness.
Faith is not psychocsomatic, faith taken to fanatical levels is.
fanatic, fanatical, overzealous, rabid -- (marked by excessive enthusiasm for and intense devotion to a cause or idea;
faith -- (loyalty or allegiance to a cause or a person
faith, religious belief -- (a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny; institution to express belief in a divine power;

Psychosomatic refers to an illness that appears to result from emotional conditions such as anger, anxiety, depression and guilt
Psychosomatic symptoms show that a human body can create physical symptoms that compensate for relationship deficiencies.
Faith is believing in something that you cannot see, hear, and/or touch. It does not create any physical symptoms in order to compensate for relationship deficiencies (or I have never witnessed any such).

It depends on where you stand in life. Faith is belief, either you do or you don't. Faith can be strong, and faith can be weak, but faith is a drive, that can get you ware you are suppose to be. Faith is real, and faith alone can heal. So to your question, No!!

Faith is belief.
Psychosomatic is any stress related illness.Which is most illness if not all.
If you believe you can get over an illness with doubtless faith,you will get over it.
So,I guess they can be the same sometimes.
