Im a very shy person aswell, and i know exactly how you feel. You may find it easyer to ask him out in someway, like a note, or a letter rather then face to face. if he does have a crush on you, he will say yes, and once u meet, it will get easyer as it goes on to talk as you both build your confidence. I know its sooo hard, but TRY and not be shy, confidence is an attractive thing, but then agian, shyness can also be cute aswell :) ok well good luck, just know that everything will be ok once u get over the first few conversations :D

Contact a good friend of yours, who is not shy about talking to strangers, and who is going with someone, to go with you to a place where this guy will be (or, if you know his phone number, to call him).
What your friend will do is tell the guy that you would like to get to know him better, and suggest that the four of you should get together somewhere, like a place to eat.
If you do not have a friend who is going with someone, but you do have a good male friend, then you could ask him.
Basically, being among people you know when you meet someone you like will help you to overcome your shyness with him.

That last answer was right. I am incredibly shy, never talk to guys. Then I met this one guy that I liked so much I just sucked it up and made myself talk to him. He was really shy too, but I kept approaching him and eventually it was comfortable. We've been together 3 years now! If you really like him, and don't want to lose your chance of ever being with him, you just need to try and be bold.

Just take it one step at a time. Start out with "HI". Then, increase the conversation each time you talk. ...but keep talking until you are comfortable. Don't say "HI" once and then avoid him after that. Speak everytime you see him and build up to a comfortable relationship!

hi would be the first step. then just start to talk to him think why r u so shy?
if he likes you then you shouldent have to be around him and if he is still hanging around you all the time then he must like you for something you did.
but you will never know if you like him truly if you dont start to talk to him or not being so shy twords him!

Just face your fears and make yourself talk to him. Pretty soon you'll be comfortable around him.
