If I made $15,000 last year and I am single with no dependants about how much should I get back??

If you made $15,000, then you should have had about $1872 withheld federally. If you had more than this withheld, then you will be getting a refund for the difference. This amount may be adjusted by any payments or credits that you may have. For one, there is the new telephone excise tax refund, $30 for you since you are filing single. You get this as a payment. This is only to give you a rough estimate of what you could be getting back. You should consult with a qualified tax preparer who may find other ways of increasing your refund.

That depends entirely on how much you paid in. You may be eligible for Earned Income Credit if you are over 25 but that won't be more than a few hundred dollars.

my gf made 8 thousand no dependents and got back 1600 you should get a little less,i believe if you make more then 9 thousand to the government your making to much.
