However, last week we adoped a dog from the pound. The dog came with his paperwork and has had all of his shots, he was well taken care of. Now my chihuahuas have a different kind of cough, sounds dry, but yet their nose is running and they are sneezing. I was reading on the net that this does not necessarily have to be kennel cough, since the new dog introduced to the house was vacinated. It could be because of the amount of animals and the fact that the chihuahuas do not go out that often. They do not act sick , have an appetite, play , not feverish.
