Beards were in fashion in those days, although the Romans only grew ones without moustaches because they regarded moustaches as being for barbarians.

Actually, the bible doesn't really state what Jesus really looked like in person. It is a bit of a mystery to this day. No where in the new testament does it state that anyone had a beard, therefore we are not sure if he did or didn't. We only have the image of people wearing beards, because it was the style at that time (so it is to be told). We are unsure about Jesus though. Therefore we don't know if he shaved it or not. :)

I applaud you on your searching for more truths in our religion!

Because when Ka-in ( He Who in The Field Food Grows) was chased away from Edin (Abode of the Upright, in Southern Mesopotamia) by Enki, because guilty of murdering his own brother Abael( He of The Watered Meadows), he and his generations were condemned to be distingushed from all the other men by a change made in their 'life essence' by Ninghiszidda so that on his face as well as one the face of all the males of his future generations BEARD WOULD NEVER GROW.

Growing someone's beard meant not to belong to Ka-in's lineage;) and belong to the righteous Annunaki lineage instead;) Annunaki used to grow long beards, which explains why in wise men or high ranked religious people always had long beards and still do. Jesus, King of the Royal House of David (The House of Judah) was a Nazarite too and Nazarites = Essenes= Keepers of the Covenant, were a group of ascetic individuals described in the Bible too, who couldn't shave their beard;)

The correct answer is biblical. Numbers, Chapter 6, gives a clear explanation. Jesus was brought to Nazareth from Egypt after the death of Herod. To fulfill prophecy, the Christ was to be a Nazarene.

The Nazarites were children of Israel that consecrated themselves unto the Lord by a vow. Verse five in this chapter reveals that no razor shall come upon the head of a Nazarene.

By reading this chapter throughout, you can better understand the reason why Nazarenes shunned wine or strong drink and did not cut their hair (vs 3-5).

Over all the stupid answers that you got from some of these people, I can tell you seriously that back in those days a man used to have their beard as part of their religion and culture.Even today there are still some religions that ask the men to have their beards they are allow to trim it. Its part of their culture.

The Messiah's name meant YHVH is Savior, so it was YAHOSHUA. Why do you believe He didn't? They didn't have polaroid back then.

Because God did not bother to give his chosen people electricity, hot water, or good blades. As usual, it was left to science to handle all the real-world problems.
