A word from this woman . . . I'm joyfully so, a vibrant 50 year old. . . peacefully divorced and out in the dating world again.
When I seen a man it is no matter to me if he has a full head of hair, thinning hair, receding hairline, bald, brown, black, red or gray hair . . .
I see a man's face, his character, how he conducts and carries himself. I notice if a man smiles easily, has a pleasant face, if he can look a person in the eye. . . if he shows to have self value and value of another . . .
Yet, on the issue of a man's hair...it is of no matter to me . . . it's the eyes, smile and character of that man. To discover a man of an authentic heart and emotional intelligence is enough in itself . . . the hair is of no issue to me. My vote ~ ~ ~ cut it very short or shave all off and let your face and character speak of you...not your hair.

Cut it short all over, about 1/2 inch, or as my barber calls it a #4 guard on the clippers. I have had thin & receding hair line since I was 19. I have grown the back long, had the top short and long, but the best look and the best for your hair is short all over. Use a good shampoo and a good conditioner to make it look fuller. It may actually start to thicken up some, I know mine has...

I have the same problem. I wore my hair like nothing was going on for years. I looked like s**t. I finally buzzed it off (no guard but not shaved) and now I can't believe how great it is. Talk about low maintenance. I bought a trimmer for 35 bucks and that's it for hair cutting costs for the rest of my life. Talk about economical. Also my new hair cut gave me an advantage over my thinning. It says to the world "I know my hair is thinning and I don't care." All the thinning hair jokes have stopped and my life is not about my hair (or lack of) any more.
Do it, trust me you won't regret it.

What ever you do, don't do the comb over to try and hide it. I just cut mine short. I got a receding hair line and bald spot on the crown of my head. No point in trying to hide it. It is what it is.
