Ok I guess from what you say that your hair was brown originaly. You did not dye it to get orange you stripped it. You didn't take out enough color to get blond.
Now you have added color to try and get brown but ended up with red.
You must either add or remove more color. If you remove more color it will probably take 2 times spaced a few days apart to let your hair recover some in between. If you add color it will probably only take one more time with the same color you have already used.
This advise is a suggestion only and is not based on all of the facts. like how long is your hair. Do you color or bleach often. What products did you use?
Good Luck.

This is the problem with people who don't know what they are doing with hair color. By the time all is said and done it will have cost you more than it would have cost you in the first place if you would have had a professional do it. Plus the fact your hair is going to be in very bad shape because of all the different products you are using on your hair. I am a professional but cannot give the advise you want because it is too complicated to explain what you need to do to get your hair back to whatever color it was in the first place. Plus I don't know what products you have already used and if I told you to use something else and your hair started breaking off you would blame me. You need to seek professional advise. At least go to a salon and ask them what they think and how much it will cost before doing anything else to your hair. Good Luck.

I've done this too! dye it back to brown again, but use an ash brown, and you have to find "loreal drabber"!!!! the drabber is added to your dye, and it eliminates brassy copper tones. the drabber is found in the hair dye isle. Or try a beauty supplier like Sally's if you don't find it at the drug store. You can also ask the clerks there what to do, they can be knowledgable. I have some red tone to my hair too, so if I go lighter I have to use it. I just haven't dyed my hair in years now, so I hope it's still on the market! good luck

I know that red is one of the colors that fade the fastest. Try using a clarifying shampoo that is meant to get residue out of your hair. Shampoo your hair alot and it should fade.
I hope that helps. I had to do it once and it worked.
Good luck
