Why not?
I did.
I met my wife through Yahoo Personals. I answered her ad on January 4th, 2005, we went out on the 8th, and got engaged on May 14th. We got married June 24th, 2006. (Sorry, those are just qualifiers.)
I stopped e-mailing other women because we immediately hit it off, and I wanted to learn more. I'm glad I did, because I've never been happier.
Yes, you can believe him. It is up to you to decide (based on his other behavior) whether you should.

Well ... is he giving you any reason to believe he IS still emailing them? Also, who brought the yahoo personals up, you or him? If he did, he may be trying to cover up something. Trust is pretty important ... make sure you have trust in this relationship.

Believe him for now or at least until he gives you some reason to not believe him. All relationships are built on trust and you can't trust if you question his words.

You can shake a Magic 8 Ball and answer this question.
You will never know.....all you can do is choose to believe him or not until he proves otherwise.
