I think the color would be fine on you. I have been a hair dresser for 15 yrs and If you are really not satisfied you should not have to pay but you should not go in there thinking if I complain enough I won't have to pay because each salon has a different policy. I worked at one that you would pay and then after a day or two you would have to call back to see if you still disliked it, then we would bring you back in and try to correct the situation and at that point if you were still not satisfied then you would receive your money back. Usually that never happened and if you get a stylist that really and truly cares about what he/she is doing than you should be 100% satisfied. I want to wish you good luck and don't worry about not being pleased think of how pleased you are going to be..

I am in agreement with Tigger7. I have worked for years as a stylist and most salons have different policy's on this sort of thing. Unless it is totally damaged by the stylist most salons will still make you pay and then offer to correct the problem.
If you find a good stylist that knows what she/he is doing with color they should be able to help you in the situation. Help you find the look that will work on you with your tan and everything else.

Yes, you have to pay. Unless the stylist damages your hair, you are morally (& legally) responsible for your bill. If you are uncertain about the results, find a salon that lets you "try on" styles with computer imaging prior to the actual treatment.

You're required to pay the full price in the states. If you're not satisfied, you find another salon.
