I've been trying to set up my own labels (using cheap labels to save money and the sizes/styles aren't listed) which usually I've been able to do in previous versions of Word without a problem. However, despite putting in the exact measurements for the labels, they set up wrong, as the header (as in header/footer) pushes them down, so they don't sit on the page right. Does anyone know how to set up the document so that the header and footer doesn't show on the label page - or so that it doesn't have as much of an impact. Thanks

Not sure if this will work but heres a few things you can try:

Under FILE/PAGE SETUP/MARGINS (tab) set the header and foot to .5

Under the LAYOUT (tab) zero out the header and footer.

Now, under TOOLS/letters and Mailings/Envelopes and Labels select the Labels tab, then Options, then Details - there is a place there to adjust the top margin as well.

Good Luck!

go to the "view" button in the upper left area of your screen and disable the option of header and footer. I think it should help.
