Basically if a cheese cake shelf life to store in a fridge under 8*F is ONLY for 3 days.
You may store it in the freezer instead if you can't finished it. The shelf life of storing in freezer is around 14 days with airtight container. To deforst it, place it in the fridge for hours before consuming, and it still can stay for another 3 days after that.

About 10 days after that it takes up a fridgy taste.. still safe to eat though! Hide that fridgy
taste by adding something to it how about fresh
melted marshmellows or ad some chocolate over them! Rarely stays in fridge that long for me unless I make a big batch of it.. I prefer strawberry cheese cake to anyother. The 1st time I tasted cheese cake I was disappointed cause I was expected a cheese taste not a sweet taste!

It depends on what kind of cheesecake really.
If there is fruit in it, no more than 3-4 days and it has to be completely covered. Your crust may get a little soggy but it will be fine.
A plain cheesecake, completely covered can keep 4-5 days with no problem.
I find that if you cut your cheesecake into serving size wedges and freeze them individually is the best way to go.
If you want to serve it, take a piece out of the freezer. It will thaw within the hour. Then you won't have to worry about it spoiling.
Keep in mind that this information is for home use not restaurant use----The rules for feeding the public are a lot stricter than these.
happy eating!
