It depends on the conditions of both, lifestyles etcetera. But mostly, they can't be 'just friends' there is always at least one thing that will stop that. Anyone who says that a woman a man can be friends and nothing welse should take a look at their own relationships with the other gender and honestly say they have never even once in their life said they felt or thought something other than a friendly way.

The more time you spend with someone, the more chance you have of something happening. If you are married and spend time alot of time with another man, what do you think your husband would think. Of course a man and a woman can be friends but like I said, if you spend alot of time with another man, eventually, something will happen. I don't mean just sexually either, I mean a connection will surely happen.

Despite the common belief in the When Harry met Sally theory, I think that they can. I think in many (if not most) friendships, at some point the issue of attraction or feelings might come up, but I have had many guy friends where this never even crossed my/their mind- so yes, I think that men and women can be just friends.

Yes, I totally believe that they can. I have a few guys who I see as really good friends, and that's all they will ever be. I've been friends with them for two years plus, and we get along great together.

Of course. I actually think that they can be better relationships because their is no competition, jealousy, etc. Some of my male friends in my life have been my best friends, with no strings attached.

Hard to say.
It really depends from a person to person and how he/she acts in real life.
Normally for me it is not a problem but I do know people that when they see a girl they always think of her as a potential sex object.
