This guy has kept in contact with me for years. even when i was with my ex.
he only ever texts me when he is out in town to see if im out in town too. (i live in a different town to him but am from his town and frequently visit). We only meet by chance.
we have met up a few times and have kissed. he does want to take "things" further tho.
he knows about my passed 6 year relationship with my fiance and that i ended the relationship 9 months ago. he doesnt know the reason why i ended the relationship. (it wasnt for this guy). he used to work with my ex. my ex has now moved away and they were never mates. he knows this too.
when we are together hes always looking t me and want to be with me. he never leaves my side. he compliments me always.
does he really like me???
why leave meeting up to chance???
is he worried about my past relationship???
i have heard that he likes the chase.
hes 29 and single.

i think not only is this guy playing you like a fiddle, he's disrespecting you in that he wants to have the fun of confusing you by texting, complimenting, looking deeply into your eyes, yet not the serious commitment of a relationship. i think he's happy leaving you on tenterhooks, never knowing when he's going to text, happy knowing you'll meet up with him whenever and wherever. i don't think he's serious about you and i don't think yo should let him into your heart. stay friends but let him know you don't want 'things' to go further because he obviously doesn't know what he wants.

I understand why you have these questions but there is no way that we can answer them. You need to ask this guy all of these things and that shouldnt be a problem since you have been friends for years.

He may just want to be "friends". Don't rush anything and just see how things progress. If anything is going to happen I'm sure it will. Be patient.
