Yes. It is appalling. I am surprised such misuse isn't monitored more effectively as I am only new to here. Much of the foul abuse is unprovoked as well. I can only say this is due to lack of common educating, self respect and those who basically really dislike who they are. This can and should be sorted out urgently.

Here's a valentine's joke, well more of a story:
A little girl brought her first grade classmate a lovely valentine's card.
She was so excited when she saw him that morning she ran across the school yard, not noticing he was standing on the other side of a puddle. She slipped in the puddle, landed square on her bottom and as she held out the card asked "Why didn't you tell me you were protected by a moat?"

I don't know why people are rude. I used to take Korean karate classes. I noticed my Korean teachers always treated everyone with courtesy and respect. I try to follow what I was taught and be polite to everyone.

Unfortunately, it seems to be the media and such and parental lack in morality and culture that has many people thinking crude and acting crude- I personally don't think its funny or intelligent, and miss alittle politness and courtesy and good humor. Try your son on the old Bill Cosby -now on CD-mine loves him, I enjoy listening to them to- remember "go-Karts", "the chicken that ate New York" and such? He's 19 now and will still listen in his car at times---

I guess to some people this is the only thing they have to do. This is their life so they will get a kick out of getting people agitated just so they will respond to them. Probably the only social life they have.

I know people are rude and thats because they are not in front of you and they think they can do whatever they want but I bet it would be different if they did it to your face.
