ok.so.here's the problem.there's this girl in my college who has a huge crush on me. last term she came and told me how she felt abt me,plus she asked me if i felt the same way abt her.(she was sweet,quite pretty & a really nice person).i would have yes.but i wasn't looking for a relationship then,plus the fact i was still getting over another girl.i told her that & i also told her that we could still be friends.
now this term,she doesn't even talk to me as she used to before,though i know for a fact that she doesn't have any hard feelings on me(she told me she understands everything & that she's ok with it).we don't meet much since we don't take any classes together.(just during break & while passing through the hall)in the past,she used to sometimes come upto me,but not now.by what my friends have told me(she's even made a card for my b'day though i know for a fact that she's not planning anything special with me in mind for valentine's day)
i'm confused.why's she acting like this?

It's called stepping lightly. She probably still has some 'like' of you.
She's afraid that if she shows you that she still likes you and you don't 'like' her the same way that she will be embarrassed.
Human nature tells you to not put yourself in the position to get 'kicked in the teeth' but our emotions tell us differently.
Bottom line, she still likes you, so if you don't feel the same way , you had better be straight with her, right now. Don't toy with a girl's feelings. (not saying you would)

Fastest way to make a woman have 'hard feelings/hate'
is to let them think you like them also, but are 'unsure' about it yourself.

In the beginning when she tought that you can be together she tried to be as friendly as possible. But now becasue she still things of you as a friend and not a possible relationship partner she has taken "her guard up" and she tries to not be interested in you and go on with the life. This can either mean that she doesn't want to have anything to do with you anymore or that she is just playing a game - I am not interested and I want to see what you will do in order to get me.
In order to see which one is true for her I would suggest that you speak with her in person and see what is going on with her.
Maybe it is that she is playing with you or it might be the other thing - that she really doesn't want to have anything to do with you.

becouse she thinks you dont like her...if you like her you should try and do something sweet like just randomly come up and ask her if she would like to go and get a bite to eat so u can catch up on the time you two havnt been talking.. and goof with her dont always be calm and seriouse with her try and make her smile and then compliment her on her laugh and her smile..it may sound dumb but usually works...best of luck buddy

She thinks you aren't interested in her romantically, and doesn't want to seem a fool for following you around if you aren't.
