In some parts of Africa it is believed that a spirit of a mermaid can go into humans and make the person do magic or stay under water for as long as 2 years.It is believed that when someone cries because someone has been taken by a mermaid the person will die. The person is also belived to come out as a healer and that person will be able to speak to mermaids. Some people belive that mermaids are satanic demons found in the water. What do you think?

I don't believe that mermaids exist..if there is any thance anyone has seen such a thing, I think it is some kind of genetic disorder that makes someone looks like a mermaid.

No, mermaids do not exist. I remember hearing that old explorers would mistake manatees as mermaids, presumably when their tails were visible. And, well, you know a bunch of men stuck on a boat with no women or a long time, their imagination can play tricks on them, probably why they imagined them to be half woman.
