u will suffer a corneal ulcer, Ulcer of lag ophthalmous , i u always sleep with ur eyes open
For Jerry p , people suffering Graves disease r mostly subjected to corneal ulcers, due to lid retraction(exophthalmous)
because if u don't blink with ur eye frequently u will disturb the tear film covering and moisturizing ur cornea, so ur cornea will get dry, opening ur eye for long time without blinking harms ur cornea
what is ur medical reliable SOURCE for ur answer?!!!!

My brother sleeps with half his eyes open, whether in a dark or a light room.

If you are tired enough you can sleep standing up with your eyes open.
