abt a few months back, a guy i see almost evryday (in buses and all) IM's me. we started chatting. he told me he has a dream girl in mind. not knowing who, i just gave him support to go woo de girl. soon enuff, he confessed, and said i was de girl. and det he loves me.
we went out a few times. but i cant deny de fact det i have got no attraction to him wadsoever!! in fact he cud get irritating at tyms. so when he asked me wad i tot abt him, i told him flat out, det i couldn't like him more den a fren.
now i dunno if wad i did was ryt or not. if so, why is he barely online at all any more?? and shud he be avoiding me?
i mean, we're still friends .....right?

At least you gave him a chance and you did not lead him on and was truthful with him...I bet he does appreciate that, But with that said.. you did hurt his feelings, and that could not be helped, no matter how nice you were about it..It might take time for him to talk to you again..but if he does, the friendship will not be the same, since his friendship with you in the first place was to be able to go out with you....
yes you did the right thing by telling him and not leading him on..I know that it was not easy, but it was for the best.

It is fair that you are true to your feeling because if you let things go on you'll be the one getting hurt. maybe he did love you and he cannot bear it that you are not attracted to him as much as he is attracted to you so he avoids you or maybe he was just after one thing and he sees that he cannot get it so he backs off, mean no need for all the work if he's not going to reap the rewards. You know the type of person he is so look at the situation and see if he was for real and then you'll probably know why he's avoiding you

You did great, you didn't string him along, get his hopes high, it was the right thing to do and not everyone has the guts to tell someone. Of course he's avoiding you, he's probably embarrased. Just let him be. It's easy for you to say you can be his friend because you don't have any feelings for him but he must feel awful. And don't expect him to be your friend.

u should talk it out with him.just because u wont go out with him doesnt mean u cant be friends.But it has to be mutual.U should see to the fact that he doesnt get hurt being friends with u because he still might have feelings for u.If he does..it's better to give him a break..u can try to make him understand that u guys just werent right for each other and u guys r better as friends.good luck:)

Maybe he knows that he had no chance and wanna be alone or move on...it's not easy for a guy to tell a girl he has interest in that he likes her...and getting such an answer sometimes tend to be hurtful....so give it some time.

I'm sorry to hear that. But if he was a true friend, he wouldn't leave you hanging. He definitely wanted more out of you than friendship. I hope he comes around but I think it's childish of him to act this way to you right now. Good luck!

maybe d way u said it to him that make him so rejected....u show told him that "we go out to get to know each other, then we make a decision whether to be fren or not...."
friendship comes 1st before any other relationships...
