As Christian I am happy no matter what circumstances. I am only controlled by the Spirit of Truth and nothing else

I'm quite content with what I have, my needs are simple. I'm happy to have the basic necessities of life and a few little luxuries, such as this computer and a swing in my yard. I don't place much value on material possessions, they're just 'things'. I'd rather have a few more good friends.
As far as debt goes....I have only rent and utilities. If I can't pay cash I don't need it. Basically, I'm debt free in a monetary sense, but I have one very close friend who has never let me down and would do anything for me. I owe him big time.
I think my life right now is a bit out of control in the sense that no one ever has complete control over anything. There's always something that can happen to turn the tide a bit, so the smart thing is to be prepared for those moments.

I've never been in debt and I have God to thank for that. I'm content with what I have. I control my life and what I do.

I'm fairly content with what I have, but that doesn't mean I don't wish I had more. I control debt, but it would be fairly arrogant to say that I control life.

Never be content. When you become content you get lazy, settle, and stop trying to educate and better yourself. Last year I realized I was content, so I moved to another city and enrolled in University and bought another house. Now my debt is controlling me. Woohoo! But only until I graduate again.

Matthew 6:25-34.......“On this account I say to YOU: Stop being anxious about YOUR souls as to what YOU will eat or what YOU will drink, or about YOUR bodies as to what YOU will wear. Does not the soul mean more than food and the body than clothing? Â Observe intently the birds of heaven, because they do not sow seed or reap or gather into storehouses; still YOUR heavenly Father feeds them. Are YOU not worth more than they are? Â Who of YOU by being anxious can add one cubit to his life span? Â Also, on the matter of clothing, why are YOU anxious? Take a lesson from the lilies of the field, how they are growing; they do not toil, nor do they spin; Â but I say to YOU that not even Sol′o‧mon in all his glory was arrayed as one of these. Â If, now, God thus clothes the vegetation of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much rather clothe YOU, YOU with little faith? Â So never be anxious and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or, ‘What are we to drink?’ or, ‘What are we to put on?’ Â For all these are the things the nations are eagerly pursuing. For YOUR heavenly Father knows YOU need all these things.
“Keep on, then, seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all these [other] things will be added to YOU.  So, never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties. Sufficient for each day is its own badness.

I am content - because what I have is what God wants me to have and I am where he wants me to be. I have far more than I need, and the career I have serves him (Teacher).
I really have been able to think in terms of what I have rather than what I don't have - and that has a lot to do with what God has put me through and taught me (some tough times). My bills are paid and my wife and love and enjoy each other - I have a fun ministry at church and many friends - why should I be discontented?
