Is it eating? It will not eat with parvo and it will start to be bloody stool when the virus starts to eat at the lining of the intestines.
Pit bulls are very susceptible to parvo if not innoculated properly.

If you haven't gotten the 3-4 parvo vax's he needs, then yes, it very well could be. Parvo starts with vomiting. It goes in waves for a couple days where the pup is perky, then down, then perky, etc... The end stage of the disease is when it's coming out the other end. You may see a dark sticky stool and a lot of times it has blood in it.
If you have gotten the vax's, then it's probably a stomach ache due to something he ate. He also could have something stuck in his intestines which would cause vomiting.
I would say, if it were a dog, you could probably watch it today & treat like a stomach ache. But with it only being a 4 month old puppy, I would call your vet and find out what they think should be done. You just don't want the little guy to get dehydrated.

There is no way to tell whether or not a puppy has parvovirus without having a parvovirus test. Your puppy could have ingested a foreign body, he could be having a reaction to a change of diet, it could be any number of other diseases.
Don't take a chance and don't wait for the signs of disease to worsen. The longer you wait, the higher the vet bill! Get him to a vet for tests and supportive care.

It might be. Did you get shots for your dog? You need to get your puppy to a vet ASAP.
Parvovirus is a viral disease of dogs. It affects puppies much more frequently than it affects adult dogs. The virus likes to grow in rapidly dividing cells. The intestinal lining has the biggest concentration of rapidly dividing cells in a puppy's body. The virus attacks and kills these cells, causing diarrhea (often bloody), depression and suppression of white blood cells -- which come from another group of rapidly dividing cells. In very young puppies it can infect the heart muscle and lead to "sudden" death.

It is very possible, especially if you haven't had your pup vaccinated for it. You have to take it to the vet IMMEDIATELY, as there is nothing you can do yourself to cure it, and it is over 90+% FATAL! It's going to take I.V's and special meds to cure it.
I know for sure, as I lost one of the best dogs ever to this plague.
