I have friends and family that have gone through the same dilemma. We don't understand why they are not going out after the parents of the kids that really need help, instead they hound mothers because of divorce or separation and the fathers have called and said some really unbelievable things. One of my friends was on her way out the door to work when family services showed up, clip board in hand, they father of the girls said the girls didn't have a bed to sleep in, no clothes to wear and there was never any food in the home...she was shocked and a bit outraged but took them through her home and proved it was all a lie, when she asked what she could do about such lies as these they said "there is nothing you can do but prove them wrong, we have to follow up on all child neglect/abuse cases." My own daughter was investigated by family services because the boys biological father didn't want another man in her home, he didn't want to marry her just see her occasionally so his way of getting rid of others was to tell family services the boy was being physically abused. I don't know what to say about keeping them away other than to just keep proving the allegations are false.

Hello,
Who are you legally going to charge?
Can't charge Social Services, because in order for them to have even started coming to your residences in the first place is because someone had put a complaint /s in about you.
They are in the service of child welfare and best interest of the child's well being.
After the complaint is made it is their duty to follow up on the complaint, then reassess the complaint in a mater of days afterwards.
Now what you might want to do is see a lawyer about your rights. If you do find it is the same person just doing this out of hast towards you, complaints or false accusations.
Make no mistake about what I'm telling you, Social Service their self gets more than one complaint from this same source, is false after follow ups are done THEY will charge this person /e their self.
Let them keep coming. Is a mater of fact welcome them into your home. If what your saying is truthful, then you really have nothing to hide. Right?
PS. You might want to reassess your friends while your at it because with friends like you have - WELL who needs enemies!

Why would the people get mad and call family services? Are you doing something? Is someone doing something?
If not- ask family services whats up.
If you have a problem witha crazy family who does crazy things, get a restraining order. And move. Across town or out of town.

When the case is proved to be false you can ask family services the name of the person that called and you can press some kind of charges against them for falsification or something like that. If you ask someone at family services they should be able to tell you what you need to do.

We go through this about once a year with my husband's ex. He has primary custody of their 10 yo daughter due to the fact that she lied to the courts and ended up with major contempt charges. I don't know where you are, but here in FL, the state is the one who has to file the charges (or so I've been told). I just deal with the social workers and move on. Karma is a b****. Eventually the people making the claims will get their just desserts.

I went through that ONCE, I knew who said all the CRAP to Family Services. When DCFS came to my home, I told them who it was and why they said the crap(you know, why they got mad at me) and the case was "unfounded")... That is the last time I had anything to do with my "so-called" friend... Ex-boyfriends are good at this too, when they are trying to get custody of their child..... People do this because they think they can just make a phone call and get you where it hurts!
The best thing I have found to do, be very careful of who you choose to be your friends. Sure it gets lonely sometimes, but with friends like that who needs enemies!?

If you know who it is tale them to court for defamation of character. If the reports continue to be unfounded then you should be able to press charges. I saw something similar on an episode of Judge Mathis (or one of the other court shows. I am not sure which one it was.

there must be a reason, family services just don't go knocking on someones door, unless they have good reason. What is it you did in the first place. you didn't say.
