Why is that people, mostly in the States and other developed countries don't value marriages at all. Either they marry this week and divorce the next or they just move in with their partners and move out when things turn sour.

I know you're right it's a crappy attitude, especially when there are kids involved. I knew one woman in America who was married 9 times!!! 9!!! Surely by like the 4th or 5th she was recognising the pattern....
People are into quick fixes these days for everything, and forget that things only last a lifetime if you take very good care of them.

Well because ppl think that they have found the right one when they havent even known each other for long and then when they get married move in and have a kid they see there is things they dont like about them and just divorce and marry again right after. I know i wanna find the right guy god has planned for me to marry so i can have a great marrige and have wonderful kids and i dont wanna put them through what alot of kids these days have to go through with divorced parents!

Some people get married for all the wrong reasons that is why the marriage never lasts. They date for a month then they think they are in love so they get married 2 months after they realize that their spouse isn't the right one for them so they get divorced. Some people get married for oppurtunity and some just get married so they won't be alone.

Cause they are too damned lazy to work on a marriage. Anything that requires a bit of effort these days, the younger generation just walks away from. That's my opinion. Marriage takes commitment and work on the part of both parties to make it work. Younger people just don't have it in them to do this.

i guess it is something to do with what the society advocates fro. it is all messed up. Most of this things have to do with a person's cultures and especially their religion. Most of the people have none of that therefore they don't have anyone to answer to. They live life the way they want it.

Because it's socially acceptable...people are being themselves. Human nature is prevailing over tradition and/or religion. And things are really gonna get screwed up if humans are allowed to just be themselves and be accepted for who they really are. The Bible says that human nature is sinful.....How can you live in peace and harmony if you are living sinfully....
