We have espresso colored furniture like our bed, night stands, and an armoir. Our comforter and curtains are a tan kinda light mocha color. What would be a good color or theme to tie all these things together. I need to find a color or theme so I can get wall art and accessories to finish up this room.

I just bought a house a year ago, and when I was deciding the room colors to go with my furniture, I found an awesome little tool. Go to http://www.sherwin-williams.com/do_it_yourself/
and click on "color visualizer" .

This is a color selection tool that will let you choose a room design similar to yours, you can then choose the color of your bedding, then follow that up with the wall color. It gives you the specific name of the color you have chosen. You can immediately see what color you like best on your wall.. It is an awesome tool when you aren't sure what you want to do in a room. I picked nearly every color in my home with this tool, and have got nothing but compliments on my decorating!

Play around with it and have fun!

Sounds like you already have a nice color theme going on.
I like the warm rich brown tones. Now is a good opportunity to incorporate a third color so that you won't get too monotone in your color palette. Unless monotone is what you are after. Reds are all the rage right now and work well for you as do oranges and blues. Blue and brown is also very popular now. Choose a third color and stay in the same cool or warm tones. Add just a little cream or white to the palette for added dimension.

If you were wanting a romantic feel in your bedroom you should try accenting it with antique golds, maybe on picture frames and lamp bases. I would keep the walls as light as possible to contrast your dark furniture. To add to the romantic theme add a dark red/chocolatey red throw on the end of your bed and matching cushions to finish it off.

I have found a website that may be able to give you some more ideas. I hope this helps and goodluck!

I have the same color of furniture. I like pictures with gold frames and an off white carpet, burgundy or maroon and a gold-ish yellow flower pattern are on my bedspread and they all go together very nicely. My bathroom also has dark cabinets, we chose a black counter top. And light tan tile. Those colors seem to show off the cabinets.

I'm thinking a turquoise color would look beautiful with your browns and tans. Maybe a throw blanket at the foot of the bed and some modern art.

Ill give u two themes... Bamboo...paint a criss cross in a light goldy colour in a pearl finish over cream walls...add some bamboo blinds and cane chair with a green cushion... put a green fake fern in there. Other one is modern decor...one feature wall in marone rest in tan/marone cushions on bed..with maybe a marone sheers inbetween curtains. Maybe a marone matt..

I would add some blues and greens. You could do this with accent pillows, an 8X5 rug at the foot of your bed, curtains, and artwork. Van Gogh prints have a lot of blues in them. Very soothing for the bed room.

animal prints are still pretty big and would go well with your colors. I wpuldn't go all out with them though. A few throw pillows for the bed. Maybe a nice rug in front of the bed. You can find tons of art work to go with this, as well as accessories, candles ...
