Does every jail term need a parole release time?

NO. There should be no parole for murderers, rapists, child molesters, kidnappers. They should be executed when they are caught and PROVEN that they are the ones that did it. If they are released they will only do it again 99.99.99% of the time. There is NO PLACE in society for these people, and how would the ones who parole theses *people* feel if they released them, and they came and done it to one of their family members. They are a disease that needs to be eradicated from the earth.

Not necessarily. In 1999, in Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson put a law into effect that discontinued the parole program. The only offenders eligible for parole are the people convicted before that date.

Not all Such as murder for example but relatively minor offenses such as dealing weed should have a parole release date Also if a person does his full sentence he should be released without having to be on parole after wards The person did their time So leave them be

In most cases definitly yes. You see the privite prison system (oppused to government system) is focused on punishment only.In the profit driven system rehabilitation has larglely been ignored. This I really consider a tradgedy.There is growing evidience showing the most incarcerated are the poorest of the poor, and surprizingly it is in prison that they learn to read.
This is just a sympton of the ever widening gap between the super rich and the rest of the planet (including the once world envied U.S. middle class, that has suffered decades of attacks on their lifestyle) As the the gap continues to grow more and more of the general population are feeling ailienated and vulnerable. At the bottom of the ladder life has come down to existing as merely survival.
With no hope to on the streets of childhold and prison life just as bleak. This is the perfect time for intervention. Hope of parole, with the teaching life skills, focus on getting victims out of the "Gang Mentality" would go a long way in reviving our communities and working class.The whole system is exasperated as we continue to torture, dehumanize, label and write off as not worth it. Why would you expect these poeple when released and living among you will have learned Empathy, Forgiveness, Compassion, a will to be a useful and contributing part of a functioning soicety, if they feel hated, useless, barely tolerated and unwanted? I think most people are aware of how unfair and unequal this country really is. If you have ever screwed up surely you must see how expointedly more likely it is for members of society born into such a disadvantage, that without any guidience every lesson learned must be learned at the school of hard knocks.
Equality in as a chance to get a real education, a little hope for things to get better and a real democracy in this Country as Bush won't drop his signing pen (we loose more and more freedom and more is hidden from us with each stroke) He is either single handedly or under Cheney's direction turning us into a police state, waiting and scheming for the first emergency or crises to take absolute power. Those secret FEMA gulags around the country waiting to be filled are hoping all Americans will panic and hand over their liberty and freedom so likes of Bush, Cheney, Ascroft Gonzoles, Rumsfeld, Rice etc., will all protect us. When (or if, if we wake up fast and take action) this comes to pass and we all live in Pre 1945 Germany, would not hope be your greatest reason to live?
Lets just pray we can avert this disaster and not end up hoping the Russians or Chineese will save our sorry butts. The whole purpose of China firing a lazer to knock out one of their own Satalites, was to let us know they have the technology and will not sit by idle as America attacks yet another Middle eastern Muslim country for the crime of having oil Cheney/Bush covet.
