You can think that now but look at it like this:
life = 90 + years
eternity = eternity
After spending so much time in eternity, you'll wish you had done more with your life cuz it'll be over.

The Kingdom of God begins now and here in this life. All life is precious. Christ shows us to respect life and to help those whose lives are filled with suffering. What we do now determines what kind of life we will have in eternity.

We decide to make it pointless or not.
