In French you can use both questions:
"Veux-tu faire les magasins avec moi?"
"Veux-tu faire du shopping avec moi?"
If you're talking to somebody from Quebec, replace "shopping" or "magasins" by "magasinage"!

IM a French knowledgeable student if ur going to the food market to purchase groceries you're saying : faire les classes if u re going paying for in a mall ...you're saying : acheter des conduct or faire du paying for frequently paying for is an customary be conscious that each and each physique french people use it!so faire du paying for is what you re inquiring for shopiing is like "interview"....thise words could be use in french and english

The first one is more commonly use when you talk about doing errands though ("courses")... It all depends on the type of shopping you wish to do.
