There are many ways to lose weight. The best approach is to attack it from two angles - on the diet front, and on the exercise front. On diet, I don't need to tell you to eat more fruits and veggies because you know this already. However, if I could tell you one crucial thing, I would say minimize (or better eliminate) your intake of things which contain refined sugars - such as cakes, cookies, candies - etc. Many people will lose a significant amount of weight from making this one dietary adjustment. Focus on foods that are natural - don't go overboard on convenience foods such as TV dinners, or anything else that comes pre-prepared. On exercise, do something you enjoy doing, else you'll get bored quickly. Try and get your heart rate pumpin' - this will put you into fat burning mode in no time. Good luck.

Even without excess exercise one can lose as much as a pound a day by not eating more than their body uses in that day. I do it all the time.
Cut back on meals, or portions, and maintain hydration. Avoid snacks, and or high calorie sugar contents, etc.
Monitor it closely so as to NOT use up more than the body needs and begins taking muscle mass.

only have regular size portions, try to have vegatables with all meals. If you drink more water it will help, really cold water slows down your metabalism, but room temp water speeds it up so thats better!! don't snack on unhealthy foods, get different types of fruit instead so it doesn't get boring. walking is good, walk for at least half an hour a day, not just walking to shop!!! try making your own fruit smoothies, they can be really delicious!! hope that helps, enjoy your holiday!!!

Do more exercise like walking or swimming. Eat less of high calorie foods like ice cream, cheese starch etc., and switch over to low calorie foods like vegetables, pulses, skinned milk products and diabetic diets.

I believe that some people do indeed have the answer to your question, since it has been asked at least several thousand times here. Good luck.
