I just thought of this, this seems the perfect analogy of Atheists vs Religious people.

"We can't prove or disprove each other, so we'd like you to shut up."

Agree?

I think those two groups could build a rapport with that statement just by shutting up.

So you're saying we're at an impasse. Can't agree. Religious people believe they're going on to a better place. Atheists would prefer to think they're going to end up 6 feet under and that's that. We have the Bible which has been the most read book in the world throughout history. Atheists have nothing.

I agree except as a christian I pray for your salvation and hope you will believe before it is too late.
It seems that many atheists feel a need to insult and condemn christians. We christians pray for atheists and only want something that we belive is the most important thing, your eternal salvation.
Many atheists it seems want to damn us to hell.
I dunno you tell me which is right.
By the way christians are neither stupid or ignorant and its hurtful and mean when you say that they are. I guess thats the point.

You surpassed over the area touching directly to the crimson pony believers attempting to bypass rules forcing human beings to feed the crimson ponies, denying human beings civil rights because of the fact the crimson ponies do no longer like it, denying human beings scientific cures because of the fact the crimson ponies do no longer like it, banning books, movies and television exhibits because of the fact they have faith the crimson ponies could be indignant, undercutting education classes that conflict with the crimson ponie' desires, etc. etc. etc.

I don't think they just want us to shut up, I think they want to change our opinion.

As for real Atheism, I've actually been doing some research on it and it turns out there are two different kinds. These labels are what they gave themselves, not from my imagination:
"Strong" Atheist - There is no such thing as God.
"Weak" Atheist - There is no such as belief.

The second of course is the more prevalent, but it is also the easiest to argue against. God bless!

No. It is always better to debate a subject without settling it than to settle a subject without debating it.

No - don't stop - I find most of the fighting really funny - darn it your going to spoil everything. I think that sounds very faith based for you as an atheist.
