Can we use any glass plate instead? Is a glass plate necessarily required?

buy Corelleware. flat plate. same difference. the only thing it does is prevent seepage into the turning wheel.

it depend where u got your microwave from.
currys, dixons, comet .
our microwave plate broke ,so instead we
just use a normal plate , which is of course microwave
safe & it works okay!!!
but it would be better 2 get da actual glass plate.

You can find them in some housewares stores. Ive seen them around.
Im sure you can use any glass plate though!
