It's not Kosher, so if you're Jewish you may have to repent. I think there are some other religions not allowed to eat bugs.

Other than that, bugs are allowed in food. Purple and red food coloring for instance, and a certain percent in all foods. Most people swallow a few spiders in their sleep as well.

There are some poisonous to eat bugs, but usually they're bright colors and live in tropical climates.

Animals eat bugs all the time. People in other countries eat bugs all the time-either on purpose or because of lack of sanitary conditions. I would think you'd be ok. Just a little more protein.

I heard on the tv once that people often eat bugs in the night without realising it and that the stomachs acid would kill the little blighters

So I dont thing you have anything to worry about but if you start feeling unwell or anything then please do seek medical advice

No, I wouldn't be worried. If the bug survived the trip to your stomach, then your stomach acids will most than likely finish it off.

nah you should no be worried the little bugs are called weevils and most of the time they are harmless. and whatever doesnt kill u makes u stronger.
