Should i tell my dad about the following matter or just sign the note myself?
During a test yesterday one of my friends were bothering me to show him the answers the teacher saw and hear us and stoped us from taking the test, gave us a warning, wrote a note to our parents which we gotta take back signed and she will let us retake the test but it will drop from the score.
If i show my dad the note do you think he would be mad and i could risk a punishment?

I got in troble for cheating once in the past and im afraid he mite jump to the wrong conclusion and think im making up excuses and say " son u didnt learned ur lesson?". The note says we were talking during the test and trying to cheat.

Give your dad the note and explain what happened. I'm sure that everything will be okay. He was a kid once too. (I love your user id!)

Approach your Dad (note in back pocket), tell him you need to talk to him about "something" and tell him you know that it may appear that you was going to do the cheating thing and explain the situation. I would also let my dad know that you are going to request that the teacher move you UP FRONT and CENTER away from your friends and under the watchful eyes of your teacher and I would do that. Bold move on your part, think Pops will be impressed for taking that one on!!!!!

In this order, explain what happened and then give him the note. Tell your dad that it was your friend bothering you, but your teacher assumed you two were cheating and how you are upset because you have to have your mark lowered even though you didn't do anyhting wrong. If you feel angry and upset and as though injustice has occured, he will prolly be much more lenient.

It was only a warning and if you learned your lesson your dad won't be mad. Show him the note. And to show how sorry you are you could also pass the test with flying colors.

Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy. Do not compound the problem by doing the wrong thing. If your Dad is a loving and caring person, he will know his child will make mistakes, please don't make it worse by forging his name, that will only compound the problem and make you even more miserable. You must face your mistakes in life, Yes, you may be punished, but if you tell him what happened, and tell him that you thought about signing the note yourself, my guess is that he will be more impressed with your character and be proud of you for doing the right thing.

tell him everything... about your friend bugging you to show the answers... that you were not cheating... and let him know you did learn your lesson...
to sign it yourself you risk getting caught at an even worse offense...
it might be tough to face down your father.... but you took that risk when you decided to give in to your friend.... right? you are how old? think..... even while your father is yelling, screaming and even punishing? least you know you took the more mature, smarter, wiser better choice.. you can look yourself in the mirror and be proud of yourself for coming clean and accepting the consequences of your actions.... and next time around? don't give in! picture your father pissed off anytime you need to make a choice like that... they always find out.... you may not know it? but they do.....

You should show your father. But make it very clear that you were not going to cheat. You might dodge a major punishment there.
As for your friend, he needs to know that friends shouldn't cheat off of each other. That's putting someone close to you in a sticky situation.

Take responseibillty for your actions and give your dad the note .he might not get to mad . if you put it off then you run the risk of your teacher calling. then things could get ugly.

give the note to your dad.....truth always wins out....as a parent myself.....i would be more upset with one of my girls if I found out about the hidden note after the fact than just signing the note......
