If it is found that Iran is aiding Iraq the U.S. should remove it's leaders. Covert Ops can be sent to take care of this task. Both political and religious leaders should be removed. Disruptions of water, electric and food supplies also carried out. Sanctions then should be put in place until Iran conforms and removes it's support to Iraq. If this fails then bomb Iran until there is not one brick atop another. This should also be done in Iraq since it's leaders support insurgents that kill Our Troops.

Iran is aiding the Shiites, the major portion of the population of Iraq. To say that Iran is not aiding them is naive. That is why Iraq and Iran went to war in the '80's to begin with. Shiites were long suffering and lost many to Saddam's reign of terror. Now Iranian supported Shiites want more power & revenge.
If Iranian insurgents shoot at US troops while they are on the battlefield, the US has a right to defend itself.

Well we can of course kill anyone we find aiding the enemy within Iraq itself. However, as overextended as we already are, I think it would be extremely unwise to directly attack Iran. Iran is indeed a historic enemy of Iraq, but they profess solidarity with the Shiite majority in Iraq just as Saudi Arabia supports the Sunnies.

I think President Bush has made the US position clear. Iranians agents in Iraq are now targets to be KILLED or captured. If they are making efforts to kill American soldiers.... well you can fill in the blanks.
My personal opinion..why over due. And a direct and clear message to Iran.
And in case you missed the memo....Iran has been aiding our enemies by providing sophisticated IED and bomb construction.

They are now being hunted down and killed or captured.
Meanwhile, Iran has offered it's help, in stopping the insurgency and rebuilding.
Now, that's 2 faced , blow it up and then rebuild it for pay.

This is very unlikely.
Unless there is another 911 America will stand down as the Democrats and anit Bush repulicans will whine and cry and do nothing like they always do. this is a lame duck world
I would expect Israel to stand up to the plate as one well placed nuke could kill off 80% of the population of Israel...
20 nukes could destroy the world as we know it

A good question. I saw the MSNBC report last night about the ambushes Iran is "allegedly" responsible for in Iraq.
What to do. Well, I guess they can be tried as spies. Spies have historically been shot.

We have known this for over three years.
This is just the first time the media is reporting on it.

Iran is an enemy of Iraq and it is very unlikely that it is helping.
