Rich: The US is indeed still involved in the Philippines in fighting the Moro seperatists. The US supplies Special Forces advisors, money and materiale. The conflicts in the Philippines have been going since 1898 (and before for that matter).

Rwanda's ethnic conflict between the Tutsis and Hutus is not currently flaring or ongoing so it is considered not a present conflict.

In the 60's there were 10 major wars. In 2005, 8 major wars; but now there are 41 major wars, civil wars in the world. 75% of all casualties are non-combatants, mostly in Africa.
