Al Salam Alaykom ! I have a question about praying...
When do you define that your prayer has exceeded it's time??
Because I usually pray after that Azan in like half an hour or sometimes longer..but never after the Azan of the next prayer? Am I doing it in a wrong way??
Another thing, in Wudu'u ... usually when washing everything we have to start with our right "parts" first...but sometimes I start with the left .. is it considered wrong..If I do it I do it by mistake..
Thanks in advance :)

It really depends on the prayer. Of course the general rule is that the closer your prayer is to the time of the Azan the more reward you will get. However, ith some prayers there are strict rules about timing. For Fajr prayer, you have to pray before the sun fully rises. So if you come to pray Fajr and it's daylight outside, you've missed the timing! For Maghrib prayer it's preffered that you pray while there is still a reddish hue to the sky, but you would'nt consider yourself as missing the prayer if it's dark; as long as the 'Ishaa Azan hasnt called.
Concerning Wudu'u, no it's not considered wrong, but it's always preferrable to start with your right side.
In conclusion, Allah see's what's in our hearts, and the most important thing is ur Neeya (intention), not whether you performed a certain action wrong, just coz you forgot!

Alaykum salam.
As a child, I have learned in religious school about the definition of each prayer's time. However I forgot the details now and how the definitions came about, whether from Al-Quran or Hadith.
As a rule of thumb, you ought to perform the duty immediately after you heard the Azan, not intentionally wait half an hour later or drag it until the eleventh hour.. I know some people do that...(there is a hadith saying about the penance for those who always delay their prayer). I know for sure that the time for that particular prayer of the day lapses as soon as the Azan for the next prayer's time is called by the muezzin. And the prayer missed must be "replaced" at the earliest possible but priority is given to the prayer of the particular "waqt". E.g. if you missed Asar, then you must perform Maghreb prayer first before you could your Asar prayer later.
About your abolution, you must start cleaning the right part of the anatomy required, as it is part of the Sunnah from Rasullah (Peace be upon Him). You won't indeliberately do it with the left part first, if you keep this in mind. Although it is not wrong.

We Alaykom AL salam.
(1) Prayer best time is right after it's Azan, and it's thawab decrease as we proceed far away near the next prayer's azan.
Briefly, try to pray as soon as possible after the azan.
(2) In wudu'u, the order is extremely important, right members must be washed b4 the left ones.
Please try to remember that in ur wudu'u, u will get used to it by time.

Wa-alaikum-salaam
Time of expiry of:
Fajr - at sunrise
Zuhr - about half an hour before Asr
Asr - Just before Maghrib
Maghrib - about 1 hour 15 mins after sunset
Esha - Till pre-dawn (almost the whole night - though preferable to pray in the first third of the night)
This is for the southern hemisphere, where I live. Not sure about other areas, though.
If you missed a prayer, you can make up for it later -but only the fardh (compulsory) prayer.
It seems as though you are doing it the right way.
In wudu, it is PREFERABLE, not compulsory to start with the right side first.
And Allah knows best!

W Alaykom Alsalam Razan,
Islam is an easy relegion as we all know..
for your prayer, it is always better to pray right after the Athan, for the prayer time, if u pray after Athan by an hour u would still catch the right time for praying.
as long u don't pray after the next Athan, then u are praying in the real time for the Salat, any ways and as I said it is always better to pray right after Athan..
concerning your 2nd part of the question, about Wudu'a it is always recomended in Islam to start by the right part of anything, and it is a must to start by the right part of your body at Wudu'a, but, and as long as, Islam is a religion of ease not hardness, then if u forget to start with your right part then it is ok, unless u remember before the time of the next pray starts, as then u have to redo the Wudu'a and then repray again..
W Allahu A'alam..
God knows better

JESUS DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOUR PHYSICAL CONDITION WHEN YOU PRAY
The holy spirit doesn't care about the direction in which you pray
God does not care which hand you wipe your bum with
Don't disresepct God so much by coming up with such ridiculous and man made laws. Love your neighbour and God will love you, for God is in us all.
Sorry for judging
