That can't be true. Let's look at your initial and see how many completely inconsistent qualities emerge.
Demure -- dangerous
Delightful -- dull
Discreet -- devastating
Dapper -- disgusting
Dismal -- dashing
Decided -- doubtful
I could go on... and on, but I hope you get the idea. And then what happens when you switch to another language? Are your qualities supposed to change then? No, if you have a rich vocabulary you will be able to find descriptive words for anybody's initial letter (while suppressing the unsuitable ones which come to mind!)
