How can I show him that I have a high self-esteem. What are the signs he's taking me for granted? I really want this to work, but he hardly calls me and I feel myself calling him all the time....help me please. Do you think dumping him cuz of his lack of consistant calling will make him think I'm not as insecure as he thought?! I P.S. I called him friday and it's now wednesday, and he hasn't called me.

Do not pursue him, that would be a sign of low self-esteem. The hell with him if he doesn't want to call you. Do not call him. He should call you. It's very simple, if he doesn't then he's not interested. There's no guessing. Stop thinking or being afraid about what others think of what you do. They're no better than you so why should their opinion be more important? Stop comparing yourself to others. I've been there and having self-esteem is not easy when you don't have it but I finally realized it's o.k. to be me. Joan is so right.

stop calling him, makes u look needy. self esteem is something that we all need to work on. we can't get it from someone else, it's within us. if he doesn't call means he doesn't want to, and maybe u really don't have the relationship with him u think u have. u can't define who u are by if he calls or it he doesn't.

You can't show someone that you have high self esteem. Either you have it or you don't. From your description of the situation, it sounds like you don't have it. If you did, your answer would be easy.

That was already happen to me with my ex bf but i realize hes not the one i should waste my time and effort cos he doesnt know how to response and respect with the woman that means he is not worth to be love,,And i leave, but now he's trying to get back..

sorry but he is not as interested in you as you are in him.His lack of interest is the cause of your insecurities and you would be better off giving your love to someone who will love you back.You deserve to be treated better than this.I was in the same boat and did wear him down so that he would go out with me but he was cheating on me the whole time because he didnt love me as much as I loved him..Get rid of him and give yourself a fair go at real love.

Don't worry. If you are really tensed then call him. But from onward , be confident and not call him regularly unless he calls you. If he is interested in you , he will take initiatives.
I know it really hurts.
