First pre-fry some rice (2 or 3 oz per person) with a little paprika in it. A fter a couple of minutes add finley sliced (and I mean wafer thin) onion and garlic, and diced carrots and fry for 5 or so minutes. Just at the end add the bacon for a minute or two - keep stirring. When finished, add tinned tomatoes, or water and stock cube and some sweet herbs (Basil). Cook for about 15 - 20 minutes on a simmer setting. Add liquid as it dries out. Then add peas (if fesh peas pre cook for couple of mins in microwave). Cook all together for 5 minutes, test rice (should be fluffy). Adjust seasoning. Serve.

Hi, here is a suggestion:
Fry bacon until slightly crisp, add Garlic & some spices of your choice ie: curry powder chilli, fry them off for about 5mins on a low heat,
Boil tatties with the carrot, when cooked drain off add some butter & black pepper & mash together,
Serve with the peas,
It makes a quick and lovely meal, I've done this a few times & the family love it, very tasty, hope this hits the right buttons & enjoy

Cook the potatoes, then mash them, cut the bacon into tiny pieces and mix into the potato.
Heat some oil in a pan and scoop out the potato bacon mix and drop into the oil and let fry for a few minutes. Then when firm on the base flatten them out into patties.
Turn them when the bottom begins to brown.
In the meantime boil up the vegies
when all the patties are cooked serve with the vegies ..

And stuff is a big area so I am going to make a few assumptions.
I would suggest making a Shepard's pie
Cream of mushroom soup
veggies you like in it (my suggestion is carrots, peas, broccoli, potatoes, onion, spices
top and bottom crust, or you can make the crust out of canned biscuits, Bisquick is easy to do (like a cobbler) pick up a pizza dough from the local pizzeria and roll our own.
Mix all veggies and mushroom soup heat on stove top for a few minutes
Deepdish pie plate or casserole dish
line with your dough put filling in (Some people add cheese at this point) layer your bacon accross the top of cheese.
place crust on top and bake at your crusts recomended temp.

Take hotdogs, split them down lengthwise most of the way down, but not all...add chopped onions in the split.....add longhorn colby or other cheese in bits in the split...wrap with a piece of bacon...secure with toothpicks...place them upside down on a grilling pan under the broiler in the oven , turn them with tongs when they need turned...until done ...take out the toothpicks...eat on a bun or plate. Note- Wrap the bacon fairly close together so as little cheese and onion gets out as possible while cooking.

Fry the bacon first, put it aside, then add the cubed tatties to the fat and fry. Once they're getting close to being finished, add other veggies. Top with the bacon, crumbled.
Viola! Veggie (sort of) Hash!

Mix everything, sliced, diced or florets, except pasta and rice in a casserole dish cover with cheese sauce and bake, or use pasta, or the rice instead of potatoes.
