i first must know, do christians deny that the old testiment is true? which ones do? what reasons do have to belive that the new one is true but not the old one? and finally, what makes them think
the current testiment will not one day be the old, if it was tossed out and replaced that would mean it was heavily changed and flawed, so everything your doing now based on the bible would be meaningless?

is it wierd that when i looked up at the screen after i typed "canged and flawed", it said i had 666 characters to work with? i swear it did, you could actually count it out if you wanted.

its just that if i remeber correctly, the old testiment described god as being extremely blood thirsty and pointlessly savage, as the hebrews either "translated the words of god wrong" or the hebrews just simply wrote the book, so the newer era of christians re-wrote it so that there wasnt a bunch of silly little stories that wouldnt even be belivable by a five year old, for somereason thiers was better, what im sayin is, they replaced it for a reason, maybe your will be too.

If I am correct, and don't just take my word for it, this is something you should research to make 100% on... Jewish people only believe in the old testament because they don't believe that Jesus was the son of god and that the messiah is still coming. Christians believe in both and believe that Jesus will come again for the resurrection. The old testament was the words of God before Jesus came to earth and the new testament is based off of the life of Jesus and what happened and what is to come to pass. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John all tell the same story from different points of view and Acts talks about the "holy spirit" which some sects of Christianity believe in and others do not. So that is why there is a new and old testament. Hope this didn't confuse you to bad.

There are severel diffrences between Jesus that was predicted to come in Old Testament and that in New Testament is diffrent

The suffering during the Maccabean period became the most serious challenge to the old Israelite thinking. This time it was not the shared suffering of all the Jews, but only those who remained loyal to the Torah who suffered and died. Thus the ancient belief of Sheol, the underworld, which summarized the common fate of all the Jews, proved no longer satisfactory. The logic of salvation that focused only on corporate or collective survival was no longer sufficient. The fate of the individual who perished for the faith had to be addressed. It was through this situation that the idea of resurrection, which Robert Goldenberg calls "the most individualistic of all religious conceptions," was introduced into Judaism... Resurrection and apocalypticism were the Judaic answer to changing times.

Fundies believe Genesis and Noahs Ark stories

As a Christian I do NOT deny the OT nor the NT, The OT has many events that took place & it still have prophecies in it to be fulfill yet, But for us to live under the law, now it's not true, In the New Testament I can take you to several places, to show you that we are no longer under the law but under grace, One place is Romans 10:4 For Christ is the END of the law, & also another verse, says that what the law could not do, Grace did it for us. You can also read Colosians, 2:16-17, Read Romans 6:14-15

The Old Testament is true, and it is a beautiful picture for New Testament truths.

We know because the canon is closed. There are no new prophets, there will be no new Bibles. When Jesus returns again, it will be to start a new age (end of the world).

Either English is not your first language or you really missed that chapter on spelling/grammar & punctuation. It makes it difficult for us as the reader to discern your point when you communicate in such a fashion.

Peace!
We cannot junk the Old Testament because it would be difficult to understand the New Testament without it. Although there are many things in the Old Testament which are imperfect and provisional it is still the inspired Word of God.

Yes. I do agree with you. The writings and teaching in testaments must remain valid forever. These should not be revised. The teachings in testaments are to be relieved upon for all times to come. Thee should never be revised. If we continue to revise these such books, which are the foundation of religion, Christianity, it would mean that the things written in present testaments are not correct will need amendment s. I apologize if any christian would take it as bad and uncalled for.

OK...Christians do believe that the old testament is true. the O.T is the foundation of the N.T. Isiah prophesied about hte coming of Jesus and how he would be lead like a lamb to the slaughter. the N.T even quotes the O.T It is called the O.T because it was before Jesus was born and there is a gap of amny years between the two. Its just divided due to time and not becuase of its meaning.
The word of God is true...be it the O.T or the N.T

And for this cause, he is the mediator of the new testament that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. -Hebrews 9:15
Jesus died to cleanse the sins of the Old Testament. It was found lacking. And, no, there is no new new testament coming.
At the end of this is judgment, the end of days.
