No. I don't see how you figure it to be "anti-christ". As a Protestant, I was taught to focus more on the Resurrection than the suffering. I was shown another side of the crucifixion of our Lord. I thought the film was very good.

I don't think it is, I went to see it when it came out and found it such an eye opener to suffering of Christ. Obviously I was aware of the story as I am Catholic but I just couldn't watch the whole thing and had to keep looking away. I was in tears at the end of it. However I really don't think it is trying to be anti-christ at all. Well thats my opionion anyway....

I don't think it's anti-Christ. Its a film depicting the Crucifixion of Jesus. It no more Anti-Christ than any other film about his Crucifixion.

I don't think that the story of Jesus's Crucifixion is anti-Christ. I thought it was obsessively violent and was too graphic, but not anti Christ

Its not Anti-Christ in any way in my opinion, but many jews have protested as they think it is anti-jew, as it shows them to be the ones who brought about his crucifixion. But, perhaps the best way to decide is to watch it for yourself (if you haven't done it already) before you ask others for their opinion.

No at all. It portrays the BIBLICAL STORY very closely to what is written. It is very well done in my opinion. I wentinto it with an open mind and came out very touched at the director's work. I think he did an awesome job on it. Have a great day.
