Can you guide me which would be a better option to buy.. a 29" projection TV or a 29" flat Tv? Which will run more satisfactorily and of more life span?

I spent some time looking at TVs and reading articles this week. I would have to say that if you are only looking for 29" you should go with flat screen LCD, especially if you are dealing with a small room where it would be an advantage. You can get some really good deals right now on the projection TVs, but considering they have a bulb that will burn out on you in 3 or 4 years (costing you about $300) they are only worth it if you want a 46" or larger TV. The salesmen tell be that the whole burn-in thing with the plasma sets is pretty much cured, but I don't know if I would take that chance on a big investment. Also FYI, Best Buy and Circuit City are both running 2yr same as cash deals on their credit on TVs this week (Circuit City was cheaper on the Sonys I was looking at).

For a 29" TV, the flat TV is better value. Get a projection TV if you want a large display.

that is advisable to do a sprint diagnosis into the sony liquid crystal reveal's and a "green blob" phenomenon. i don't be attentive to too lots approximately it, even though plainly like that could be a controversy with the reflects on particular sony television's. individually, I went with a DLP over a plasma/liquid crystal reveal flat panel. larger is greater effectual, and for the funds i develop into able to get a greater television going the DLP direction.

Forget the projection tv. They're low-end now, and they work best when you're looking directly at them, not from the side, and they're huge. Get an LCD (or Plasma if you can afford it).

I would go with the flat for that small a screen.

If you go above 45" -- go with projection
