You can definitely improve your handwriting. The only thing you need is a little bit of patience. First you get a cursive handwriting book or buy a four-lined note-book and start practicing the strokes like upward strokes, downward strokes. Always start writing from the third line to the first line and again come back to the third line(for upward strokes; from third line to fourth line and again come back to the third line for downward strokeedletters) Don't hold your pen or pencil firmly. Hold it freely. First you take letters like b,d,h,k,l,t (upward strokes letters) then go downward strokes letter like f,g,j, p,q,y,z. Then practice for the left out letters.(second and third lines) After this you can take 2 or 3 lettered words for practice. While writing these words don't lift your hand until you finish writing that particular word. Writing/practicing in cursive handwriting book will also help you a lot. All the best.Within a week you will improve your handwriting, because this is what I do with my students.

I think all you need to do is that you take some computer typing classes. Just so as to be away from your handwriting. Good luck

I don't know if you can still change your handwriting but try writing the alphabet all capital then small letters like engineering drawing practice until it becomes natural.

man i am in the same boat. I'm 41, and I have never been satisfied with my own penmanship. I can spell excellent, but I write like a goddamn sixth grader. Can't help it. I guess It will always be this way.
