Oh well, at least no one's suggested anything really dangerous yet. Well, the garlic isn't a good idea really. Is there a particular reason you only want to use herbal treatments? If it's that you're wary of drugs, know that anything you get from a vets will be completely safe. But pet shop products - people should be afraid of these! If you want something that actually works, just get some Frontline from a vets. Dawn dish soap is pointless by the way. What's the point in drowning the fleas currently on an animal when new ones are just going to hope on/hatch out once the animal is dry?!? Chalice

Go here for the best dog training couse http://dog-training.gelaf.info
Since it is obvious that you do not have a clue about obedience training, your services should be for free. You cannot train even an adult dog for 8 hours a day. About the most that can be done at any one time is 10 - 20 minutes and that is with an adult dog and not a puppy. The attention span on this baby is extremely short and training session should be no more than 10 minutes and twice a day. Additionally, there isn't going to be much learned if you will only be training for 5 days. Obedience training is cumulative and is done over a much longer period of at least several weeks to several months.
What you can charge is determined by your experience, reputation, and accomplishments and in a case like this, should also include guaranteed expectations. Just working with dogs over several years, is not the experience that is necessary to be a dog trainer. There are too many people who are putting that title to their name and fleecing the public. Don't be one of them.

You need to get rid of the problem first and then maybe a herbal remedy might work to keep the fleas away. Fleas bites are horribly uncomfortable and VERY itchy..please help your dog by getting him some frontline plus.

Forget herbal remedies, use something that works. Frontline, Revolution or Advantage are what you need to use. Just a small line of these oil like products in the nape of the neck each month and your dog will not have fleas. It is unfair to your dog to experiment with things that don't work.

Well
Understanding how to train your dog and how to correct bad behaviours is very important. That's why I suggest to follow a good training course. There are plenty of books and training material. One online course I recommend (I like it because it has hundreds of videos) is http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=572
It helped me a lot.

Sophy is right, herbals are great for preventative but first you need to eradicate the problem. Do not feed garlic (or onion) to your pets ever, exposure over time causes anemia.

Learning how to train your dog will improve your life and hers, enhance the bond between you, and ensure her safety and it can be a lot of fun. Dogs are usually eager to learn, and the key to success is good communication. Your dog needs to understand how you’d like her to behave and why it’s in her best interest to comply with your wishes.
