Why do you only read a small part of the BIBLE to find these references? Read the rest of the scriptures to get the complete picture. I do not want to be left out of Heaven at HIS SECOND COMING! I want HIM to recognize me as one of the SAVED. We are not saved by works but by OBEDIENCE to HIS WORD.

Study these scriptures and see what you think. To become a Christian:
HEAR - Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
BELIEVE - To the Prison guard in Acts 16:31 Paul and Silas said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
REPENT - Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
CONFESS CHRIST - Matthew 10:32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
BE BAPTIZED - Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL - Revelation 2:10b Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.

I asked Jesus to become my Saviour in April of '05. Am anxiously waiting for the rapture, I can tell the end is near by watching the news and seeing how Russia and Iran are becoming buddy buddy as in Persia, Gog, and Magog attacking Israel.

It is true that we are saved by His Grace.
Read the following which Jesus said:
11 While the people were listening to this, Jesus continued and told them a parable. He was now almost at Jerusalem, and they supposed that the Kingdom of God was just about to appear. 12 So he said, "There was once a man of high rank who was going to a country far away to be made king, after which he planned to come back home. 13 Before he left, he called his ten servants and gave them each a gold coin and told them, "See what you can earn with this while I am gone.' 14 Now, his own people hated him, and so they sent messengers after him to say, "We don't want this man to be our king.' 15 "The man was made king and came back. At once he ordered his servants to appear before him, in order to find out how much they had earned. 16 The first one came and said, "Sir, I have earned ten gold coins with the one you gave me.' 17 "Well done,' he said; "you are a good servant! Since you were faithful in small matters, I will put you in charge of ten cities.' 18 The second servant came and said, "Sir, I have earned five gold coins with the one you gave me.' 19 To this one he said, "You will be in charge of five cities.' 20 Another servant came and said, "Sir, here is your gold coin; I kept it hidden in a handkerchief. 21 I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take what is not yours and reap what you did not plant.' 22 He said to him, "You bad servant! I will use your own words to condemn you! You know that I am a hard man, taking what is not mine and reaping what I have not planted. 23 Well, then, why didn't you put my money in the bank? Then I would have received it back with interest when I returned.' 24 Then he said to those who were standing there, "Take the gold coin away from him and give it to the servant who has ten coins.' 25 But they said to him, "Sir, he already has ten coins!' 26 "I tell you,' he replied, "that to those who have something, even more will be given; but those who have nothing, even the little that they have will be taken away from them. 27 Now, as for those enemies of mine who did not want me to be their king, bring them here and kill them in my presence!' " luke 19.

After/before you get water baptism, you will recieve Holy Spirit baptism, and God's spirit will make you do God's work with passion. Read Bible and pray earnestly.

saved from what?

Christians have their saved but
non-Christian's don't

just because someone is not a Christian does not mean they are going to hell.
That place is something Christians have.
Other Religion & Faiths do not so they wont be going there.

blessed be

The purpose of saving something is to use it later like saving money or overnight food in the refrigerator. We use it at a later part of our life.

So, if we are to be saved, what are we saved for and for whose use later?
