on your hand?
i am asking this because John in the Apocalypses says that
people will be forced to have a scar on their hands but people shouldnt do it as it will be the sign of the antichrist
and when the judgement day comes people with this scar will go to hell

may people believe that this scar mentioned in the Apocalypse is this chip that after a few years people will be asked to have installed

what is your opinion?

Definitely not, nothing like that is EVER going on or inside of mine/my families bodies. I would rather die to be honest (what's saying they couldn't be designed to cause the release of a hormone which could cause me to have a heart attack on the press of a button etc).

They might find it fun to make legal (when everyone has them- law passed that newborns are to have them installed) that it's ok if they make you get an electric shock or vast degrees of pain from them when you can't pay off a debt, break a minor law (parking ticket or something) or if you go outside after 10pm, etc, etc, etc!

in some ways it would simplify life. imagine going to the grocery store, grabbing what you want, and on the way out the door everything in your cart is automatically charged to your account. it would make commerce much simpler. however, it also means that the government would have knowledge of where you are and what you are doing at all times. there goes all privacy and liberty.

in terms of the Antichrist, i think the scar is referring to something else, possibly a mark used to designate class or similar. something along the lines of the Nazis forcing Jews and homosexuals to wear specific emblems for identification. i believe it will have more to do with a "cult", society, or something similar, rather than the microchip.

i don't think i would get the chip if at all possible to avoid it, but if the entire world functions solely on it, then it would be near impossible to avoid it. imagine living completely without money in today's society. you really can't, unless you run away to the mountains and live off the land. (which i would consider doing if they tried to force the chip)

I would not have it

Not because of all this but.. Why would I want the world to know
who I am only because they scanned me and did not ask me

Some day I fear that people will have to have this done at birth because the world will be a police state. If things are to change then only the people can do this and not the state. We don't need new laws or new ways to follow people. We need to use what we have.
I am not looking forward to that chip or bar code.
that would be the one reason I would leave the US. {if that happened in my life time}

If Americans lets the government put a chip in their passport it can be read with a scanner, from around 20 feet away. This can lead to serious problems, and no I won't go along with that one.

When our word to keep has to been held up as true and trustworthy this has come to keep an account as true, it is Antichrist because one does not honor his word it is a warning to all of us who carry our self according to our word, when we have found ways to not hold up our word as ought. then i believe God will allow the chip to be as proof who has carried truth in the words given us. if you or i are found not able to come for correction before the throne of the most high then we will receive the mark, this is what i understand about the Antichrist and the mark. there is no shame in the confession of the sin to come for correction, May God guide your walk and the Holy Spirit correct your way's.

No chance in heck would I agree to that.

In the past, if somebody wanted your money, they'd steal your wallet or pocketbook.

If your money were stored electronically in a chip in your hand, how would a burglar steal that? Use your imagination, for crying out loud. (Think along the lines of amputation.)

I think Revelations is being used out of context on this matter.

The main reason for this is because people seem to think that built-in RFID based chips allow people to scan them for information from afar and reduce freedom.

In reality, such chips would only be readable from a distance of maybe a few centimetres (like in current Passport RFID based chips) and would not be the threat people are assuming.

And no, passive storage chips CAN NOT BE USED IN ANY WAY TO CONTROL PEOPLE.

No I don't believe that this is the so called "Mark of the Beast". For one, the chip would not leave a scar and two, unless the chip specifically has "666" written on it I don't think it classes as something "Satanic".

Oh what? Some guy below seems to think that chips in passports can be read from 20 feet away... Well here's some news for you - They already DO put chips in passports and they only work at a range of 1-2cm and the book has to be open to that page first.

THIS is why people think embedded chips are dangerous...

Hun, I'm a Satanist, and I wouldn't do that. Who knows what other kinds of programming that type of microchip might have and the ways it could be used to manipulate us? The one time I had a computer virus, it was bad enough. Imagine if I got a bad chip and it was inside of me.

That's just nuts.

my opinion is that people who believe that are lucky that they remember to breathe. It would be lucky for us if they forgot.
