Dont listen to people with there stupid comments. I know how hard that is, I have been right where you are and it does get better but take it slow. Don't set yourself to higher goal then you wont feel down about it. I still have a problem with going out but for some reason I can do when Im wearing sunglasses, its like I think that no one can see me when im wearing them and it gives me the confidence to walk to the post box, strange i know but if it helps. good luck and take care x

Of course you will get better, if you really want to. If you are at the end of your rope and have tried everything (hypnotherapy, drugs, etc) maybe you should try something alternative like Reiki therapy. I have used Reiki therapy for my depression and for my migraine headaches and it has worked wonders. What matters is not the method you use, but that you believe you will get better, and you will. I believe you can.

As for getting on a train by yourself, it's no different from the grocery store or a movie, only you are moving. Make sure you have something to keep yourself from getting bored. Try something active like a puzzle book or cross-stitching instead of just reading, it's more distracting.

First of all well done for achieving what you have, I know from experience how hard that must have been for you and how proud you must feel for making progress.

Agoraphobia takes time to overcome whatever form of therapy you have, if hypnotherapy seems to be working for you then that's fantastic. I'm having CBT for anxiety disorders which include agoraphobia and I too am making steady progress. As long as you want to get better, you really can.

Good luck.

of course you will, just chill and relax, and remember you will probably never see any of these ppl again in your life so don't need to care about what they think of you

Don't go out there....There's people that will laugh at you and point, that's if they decide not to kill you first.
